Minyoung Park — Work in Progress 🚧
PhD Student @ NUS | Human-Computer Interaction & Human-Centered AI
Hi! I’m Minyoung Park, a PhD student in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
My research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-Centered AI, with a particular interest in generative AI for learning. I study how people engage with AI-generated outputs—how they interpret, adapt, verify, and integrate them into their own work—and how these interactions shape learning and human agency.
My current research explores how human-AI systems can support reflection, agency, and self-regulation, helping people engage with generative AI while remaining actively involved in their own thinking and learning.
Previously, I studied conversational AI for supporting students’ self-reflection at the Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) Lab at Seoul National University of Science and Technology. I was also a visiting researcher at the Human Communication Technologies (HCT) Lab at the University of British Columbia.
